Ceremonies
to Mark Transitions
Whatever our beliefs, ceremony is a very powerful way
of integrating and honouring new experiences, life changes and personal
commitments. Together we can create a moving, nourishing and personally
meaningful occasion.

Weddings
For
those seeking a spiritual ceremony outside the restrictions of
a particular denomination. A ceremony that is an authentic reflection
of who you are, both as an individual, and as a couple. A ceremony that
would consecrate your intention, purpose and vision thus honouring the
transformative power of love.

Blessings
and Naming Ceremonies
for the Newborn
A
celebration of gratitude and joy for the miracle of new life.
A ceremony to support the mother and father in their role of parenthood
and to acknowledge the sacred role of grandparents and guardians in offering
their love, acceptance and wisdom to the new generation.

Funerals
and Memorials
A
service to truly honour the life of the deceased. An occasion
that allows space for friends and family to express their grief and to
reflect upon their relationship with the one who has died.

Healing
Ceremonies
Healing ceremonies may be individual, or can involve
a couple, a family or a whole community. The focus is on opening to union,
forgiveness and peace by letting go of past judgements, unhelpful defences
and the need to suffer.

Spiritual
Counselling
The
aim of spiritual counselling is to help you to connect with your
own inner strength, wisdom and spirituality – whatever your beliefs.
When you are truly heard in complete acceptance and unconditional love
we are able to see the truth behind our problems. In gaining clarity and
peace we can move forward out of inadequacy and fear into wholeness and
love. In addition to traditional counselling methods, silence, prayer,
meditation and visualisation may all form part of spiritual counselling,
if they are appropriate to your needs and beliefs. Telephone sessions
can be arranged.

Bespoke
Workshops
State your intention and bring together your chosen people.
Together with Spirit we will work out a programme intuitively creating
the arena for your soul to flourish.
e.g.
* Siblings wanting to grieve and honour on the death of parent.
* Friends coming together for a weekend of nurturance, relaxation and
self worth.
* business associates needing clear space to brainstorm and set firm intentions
for the way forward.
* groups of individuals looking to deepen their spiritual connection.

Venues
These are as varied as the people who choose them. Boats,
Castles, Hotels, Mountain tops and Waterfalls, your own home or garden.
Anywhere in the world or here in the beautiful Lake District.

The
Interfaith Seminary
The
New Seminary was founded in New York in 1981 by Rabbi Joseph
Gelberman. In 1996 at Rabbi Gelberman’s request, Reverend Miranda
Holden founded The Interfaith Seminary in the UK. The Interfaith Seminary

interfaith ministry and heartfelt spiritual service.
Interfaith
Ministers are mature people actively committed to their own spiritual
tradition. All have been through a two-year programme of education and
training at The Interfaith Seminary, UK. We study the world's major religions
and spiritual traditions and receive a practical training in spiritual
counselling, conducting ceremonies and the heart of service.

Professional
Standards
